How SareyMc started their logo design journey
I am a former wedding coordinator who is setting up an online wedding store supplying hard to find bridal items for weddings.
We are focused on selling the additional bits and pieces that make a wedding special. The main items we are selling are guest books, wishing wells, flower girl goods ect.
The name "Wedding Wish" was thought of more as a "wish upon a star" than the literal wedding wishing well.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Australian brides, mostly from small country towns who tend to be the largest online buyers. Brides with additional money to spend on extra items
Although we do sell wedding wishing wells as one of our major lines, we are not particularly wanting a wishing well as the logo as it excludes the other product lines (and is the logo of every other wishing well company on the planet)
Wedding websites tend to all have flowy writing, cakes and bride and grooms - we want to avoid this look to set us apart. We want to have a modern look logo.
The image that keeps coming to mind is a shooting star with some sort of small hearts in the trail, silver or gold colours or modern colours - browns, greens.
I have attached a photo of the kind of thing I have in mind. Where the design element that will come in is in the colours, shadings, background and forground. My image is to be used as a very very basic idea of the finished product we are after.
