Zory Mory was a pleasure to work with. She took my feedback and kept coming up with several options until I found one that best suited my needs. Her work is beautiful and fresh.
How Laurel Ann Elements started their logo design journey
Laurel Ann Elements
Recycled textile and paper materials
Natural dyes and inks for screenprinting
I create designs in photoshop from my extensive nature photography collection, and screenprint the simple designs onto recycled bags, notecards, t-shirts, and anything else that strikes my fancy. The designs are customizable as far as color, style, and quantity. I am placing emphasis on only using recycled, recyclable, and biodegradable materials.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Target audience will mainly be women, but I would like the logo to appeal to men as well, to encourage them to shop the site and possibly purchase a gift for a loved one. Someone who would purchase something from http://www.redenvelope.com or http://www.potterybarn.com would also look at my website; however, I would like to appeal to the IKEA crowd as well. My products will be priced so as to be reasonable to the person of average income, and the sustainable message will be appealing to Baby Boomers and Generation Z alike!
no more than 3-color
need to have a b&w logo as well as color
font should be readable if printed small (bus card) or large (banner) format
would be nice to incorporate a Laurel flower, although not necessary
"homemade artistic" feel, but should still be professional
