Art & Design
Hello all! Thank you for contributing to my brief for my personal logo. PLEASE SEE THE VISUAL REFERENCE I PROVIDED! A bit a bout myself; I am an Executive Creative Director working in the world of Experiential design and Advertising. I am in the process of redesigning my website and I wanted to refresh my personal logo and colors as well. You can see some of my work at russellheubach.com to get an idea of what I do and the kind of brands I do it for. I am looking for a logo and color system that separates me from the clutter of other advertising portfolios. Something cool and stylish with a bit of playfulness. but nothing too silly. I would also be interested in seeing iterations that are a bit more sophisticated but not overly so. I make fun thing happen so my logo shouldn't be too serious. I am NOT just looking for a nice font, I want something with real curb appeal. I also like the use of color but it shouldn't look cartoony. Would like to see how the logo plays with different backgrounds and patterns My work stretches from traditional advertising to experiential and event space design so I think the word that seems to sum me up the best is Storyteller - by I am open to ideas. I'm open to incorporate a mark with my name but it doesn't necessarily have to have one. If it does, I don't want it to over power. More about me: I am a visual thinker. I think in big ideas. I work hard, I have a lot of experience in the business and I am passionate about what I do. I really like hand scripted typefaces and logos that look hand done - I would like to see that as an option. I would like see simplicity, stylish and playful (not cartoony) in my logo. THINGS I DONT WANT TO SEE: Overly contrived, Corporate looking, overly elegant, flashy, cartoony, or overly serious. Please stay away from overly cliché iconography ie; lightbulbs, pencils etc. Thank you for participating!
Thank you again, and please have fun!
