Clarified brief following feedback from designers:
We are run a number of online shops, with distinct product lines, i.e. cables (A/V and computers) and batteries & chargers.
What we are really looking for is a "look" that can be applied to the same text irrespective of the language or words e.g. the domain name might be "http://www.schoolbooks.co.uk" or "http://www.livres-decoles.fr" depending on the target market/country.
We want a theme and/or motif to unify the stores irrespective of the domain name. Visitors to both stores should clearly recognise that the stores are connected and part of a network of stores, even if the domain names are different.
- Dimensions should be square or landscape
- The look should be clean and modern with a technology edge and a dash of Web 2.0
- Must be clearly legible at a size suitable for use on a web banner e.g. less than 60 px
- We anticipate the space on the website for the logo will be approx 200pixels high and less than 600pixels wide - whatever works.
We are actually looking for two logos (one for a online shop selling cables and one for the shop selling batteries). Although both independent we would like to see them kind of "related". Also both distinct logos will serve different domains, i.e. separate customized shops for target markets and therefore there should be a provision (place holder) to attach a domain name to the logo.
