The Jacksonville Observer
The Jacksonville Observer is an online newspaper serving the Jacksonville, FL area. The site and current logo can be viewed at http://www.jaxobserver.com
Readers in the Jacksonville, FL area.
The current logo, as you can see, is pretty bland and boring.
We probably want to keep the same red color (or something similar) but we might be open to a change if you think there's a color that works better.
We need to get a fresh new look for the site. We're planning to redesign the site in the coming months and a new logo would be the first building block.
The logo should be a self-contained object that looks bright and attractive on a white background.
One of our local competitors has a logo that includes a bit of the Jacksonville skyline...
Another is News4Jax.com (a local TV station) and Jacksonville.com (the local newspaper)
I'm excited to see what the community comes up with. Patriotic and/or local themes would be great to include if possible.
