We need a simple, fun logo for our upcoming new venture, Holidoodle.com. The site is targeted to "alpha moms" and provides easy to use, interactive tools to make "doodles" to email or embed.
Holidoodle
Logo is for Holidoodle.com, our new venture. The "doodles" are sort of a cross between an ecard and a show, whereby the sender can choose things like music, color schemes, etc. and what happens when or where. Then, the creator can choose to email their show to their friends, or embed the show on their site or blog.
The first example of this is a fireworks creator, which allows the sender to select a music track, color palettes and styles for the fireworks, then choose where fireworks explode and include their own messages.
The core target audience is "alpha moms"--women 30-55, who are both very busy and very focused on their families, tend to be college educated, and as a group are more tech-savvy than the general population.
Our company is Tree House, and I am Amy Cham, the Tech/Marketing Convergence Manager.
- The idea we are going for is something simple enough to adapt to
different holidays (like Google does), but distinctive enough to be
memorable.
- Cute is good, cutesy is too far.
- Something with a little
movement (as in flow, not animation) is ideal.
- Colorful is good, but should work in B/W as well
- We definitely want this in AI format or FULLY VECTOR PSD
- All caps
- Too cutesy
- Elaborate
- Too polished
