Microstock Charts

Microstock Charts is a simple website for people who sell photos online to track their earnings and other metrics. As the name implies, the data is displayed in different charts. It's all about the charts. The project is designed to be modern, simple, and fast. We will be updating the design of the website shortly to be more consistent with these principles. Don't take the current ugly design as an indication of what we want from this project.

Our target audience are technically savvy people with an understanding of design themselves - they're all photographers and illustrators.

We require the design of a simple logo incorporating the name "Microstock Charts" or the domain name "microstockcharts.com" and two simple banner ads that incorporate the logo (standard sizes: 125 x 125 pixels; and, 468 x 70 pixels). The key element we're after is 'simple' and that's the reason why this project includes both logo and banner ads. We're not after anything elaborate. Logos with an icon to the left of the name will be well considered, but it's not essential. Any graphic elements beyond the words (including any icons) need to relate to 'charts', not any other aspect of the project. The appearance of the charts on our website is going to change, so don't incorporate them in your design. We will not discriminate against any design for having charts that look different to ours. Though charts are certainly not essential in either the logo or the banners. A stylized font is almost essential. We want the 'name' to be the primary element of the brand. We're totally open about colors, though we want them to look modern. The content of the banners is not fixed, but a suggested text is "Microstock data tracking that's Free, Private, Easy and Useful" or any other copy from the project website. Logo must be supplied as vector and banners as PSD.
