proximi got their new logo design by running a design contest:
software / web 2.0 logo needed!
Check out proximi's Logo design contest…
Our software, Proximi (meaning "neighbors" in latin), is an application for your mobile phone that facilitates the sharing of your physical location to friends & contacts. We're looking for something super-creative that just undeniably hits the mark! This is our baby so we're really excited to see what you come up with...
What's your vision?
Logo should be "techy" in the meaning of sleek & sexy web 2.0 start-up. Innovative integration of 'graphic or action' to convey the friend-finding, connecting, or locating aspect (i.e. air waves, radar, etc.) of our service is a plus. Logo should convey fun & social interaction, have a great use of colors, and be super-easily recognizable & brandable.

It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their logo design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
proximi collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
