George did a really nice job of reading and understanding my creative brief then submitting ideas that were on-target. He delivered concepts that were – like his portfolio pieces that had prompted me to invite him to my contest – smart, visually interesting, and fun; he also does a nice job with negative space. His comprehension was great. He was very, very responsive. And he did an exceptional job of refining the design, offering options and variations, and making suggestions to improve the logo. I’m quite happy with the result – and the process of working with him – and would certainly recommend him.

I like clean , creative and high quality. Should incorporate the name clearly. Ideas I have thought of include: image of tree (raw material) to finished product (boat, timber frame, furniture); using body plan or lines drawing in profile of boat; roots 'growing' into product; incorporating: water; wood; woodwork joints; piece of furniture supporting name; name in black, background image in one to 2 colours max; plan or profile view of a wooden boat below or 'behind name'; partially framed and planked carvel wooden boat cut away to support name;
