We need a strong contemporary design for our Contractors Association

Cornwall Contractors Association

Cornwall Contractors Association is a long-standing representative body that has been working in the Cornwall area since the mid 1920’s. Previously known as the Seaway Valley Construction & Trades Association, they’ve always functioned to represent their member’s collective interests as advocates in municipal and, through their parent associations, both provincial and federal affairs. As part of their re-branding efforts, they are also looking to evolve towards an outreach program focused on establishing the association as the trusted source of industry-related news and insight within the community.

The target audience are homeowners and families with in the Cornwall area.

This logo design contest is our effort to adopt a new modern contemporary logo that will represent the current values and brand of the association while acting as a badge of integrity, trust, strength, dependability for our members within our local community. The design should communicate the previously mentioned themes and incorporate some of the colours found in the included palette’s below. We prefer simple designs with bold lines to communicate strength. Please keep in mind that the association is made up of contractors and trades people that are more traditional.

The design will be used for on stickers, apparel, printed material and digital (web). The artwork needs to be submitted in Adobe Illustrator which all elements editable. Fonts should be embedded to allow for post-design editing and corrections.
