Suzi Carmassi Golf Classic to Benefit LUNGevity Foundation and Loudoun Hospice
My mother passed away of lung cancer 3 years ago. I have put together a charity golf tournament. All the money raised goes to lung cancer research and Hospice. I currently have a logo which you can see on the my website http://www.carmassigolf.com. However, I'm not in love with the logo and wanted to see if a designer could come up with some new and exciting. I chose the butterfly because my best friend had a dream and my mom came down in the form of a butterfly and asked her if I was doing ok. The next day my best friend and I were golfing and a sweet, yellow butterfly followed us around the golf course the whole day. I think it was my mother.
My audience is the golf community. Obviously, the majority are men. In creating this logo I would like it to incorporate a butterfly and some how incorporate golf (if possible) so it relates more to men. Nobody really knows the significance of the butterfly but if we could add some golf flare into it that would be great. I also like having the two charities on the logo as well. LUNGevity Foundation and Loudoun Hospice.
Be as creative as you would like. My goal is to have a nice looking logo with a butterly and somehow incorporate golf and the charities. Please feel free to change the colors, font, butterfly. I actually don't like this logo at all and would love something completely different.
