Again, these are simply recommendations, not hard and fast guidelines - if you have an idea for a great logo that just NEEDS to be red, go for it...we'd love to see it!
We know that the creativity of the masses on sitepoint.com far outweighs our own creativity on the subject, and we don't want to put too many ideas out there in fear of inadvertently limiting your creative potential on this project. So, this contest is truly wide open. We will be here with constant feedback to let you know what we think works and what we think might be a direction we don't want to go...
For your sake and ours, please ensure that any icons/symbols, etc. that you use in your designs are your own original works.
We're very excited to see what you all come up with, and we'll be here by your side helping to guide things along the way.
Thank you in advance!
