How uneekGrafix® started their logo design journey
OK so it has become time to ask the design community for a little help. I have always put more time into developing other peoples ideas then I have for myself. As any designer will tell you its one of the biggest challenges you will face trying to design for yourself. So this is the reason I'm asking for the help.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
uneekGrafix® is a small design and photography studio located in Chicago. Most of the work I do is print based with some web, intercative and development/concept ideas. I have been around for a while now and its getting to be time to update my look. You can view my site listed below, which has my old logo. But it will give you an idea of the type of work I do. http://www.uneekgrafix.com
This site has my current logo on it. http://www.photography.uneekgrafix.com
I'm looking for a new icon/logo for my company uneekGrafix®. I recerly started doing photography aswell as design so I want to be able to incorporate that into the overall look and feel of the logo. I want to have a small icaon that I can useon things like cellphones, stickers, clothing tags, avatars, favicons, photograph's. I want it to be part of the brand but still be able to stand out on it's own. For example Volcom (The skate company)-they have the "stone"- stands great out on its own but is also part of the brand equity. Or Apple- they have the "bitten apple" that is also part of the brand. Easily recognizableto the brand and able to stand out on its own. I want something to be able to be simplified down to a single element that represents uneekGrafix®, in both fields I work in; graphic design and photography and will work well with- "uneekGraifx® design & photography"
I can provide you with the current logo/typeset that I use but I don't want you to work off of it. I want to see new ideas other that what I have come up with. This ideas needs new fresh eyes. Keep it modern, classy, and sellable and remember that I am also a designer. :)
Also I know how the game works so I will do my best to provide designers with feedback and if you need anything answered about the contest please post it on the board so everyone can read it over. Thanks guys!
modern. simple. Not too web 2.0ish. stylish but still have an urban feel. Keep the stock "royalty free vector art" to a minimum.

you to steal other peoples work and submit it as your own.
