monk got their new logo design by running a design contest:
The University of Jesus
Check out monk's Logo design contest…
Hi, The University of Jesus is a program designed to get people reading the Bible. We employ a special Bible called the 90 Day Bible which takes you from beginning to end in 90 days. We are looking for a marketing meme suitable for cards, letterhead, our web site and embroidary.
The University of Jesus
What's your vision?
We are after a marketing meme that can be used for branding both online and offline. We work with children and adults and would like both color and movement in the logo, meme. We like the idea of wind and ribbons and we also like the idea of a collegiate theme suitable for embroidery on sweat shirts and book bags. Think globally as the Bible we use is printed in many languages. Also think simply. Easy to spot, read and understand. Also think outside. Jesus taught on hillsides, from boats and in homes. It was all pretty casual and natural. This link will take you to a description of what we want from the iamge. http://books.google.com/books?id=95C1Xy2fQkEC&pg=PA162&lpg=PA162&dq=uba+the+caveman+meme&source=web&ots=XvkZaYLBKd&sig=9W7C4sYMvyiLTUHFB4QgcWraPbA&hl=en We want to eliminate any language or cultural barriers as we are trying to provide both a literacy program as well as Spiritual encouragement. Thanks for your participation. Monk
1) Movement reflecting wind 2) Color reflecting life 3) Simplicity, an easily recognized meme 4) Youthful and playful but sharp as opposed to cartoonish Our tagline is One Book One Teacher One Year What we want is a breath of fresh air when we look at this logo! Thanks, Monk
- Item 1...not too much color, no rainbows - no flags, but ribbons are great - no blocks or block images - no suits no ties
