Meadow is a great designer! The aim was to excerpt the meaning of different words and translate into a logo/picture. That was well done. The work process was very good - all proposals were implemented.
Thanks a lot!

Brix & Mortar is a play on brick and mortar. Brix is the unit of measurement used when measuring sugar in wine. The name is meant to imply wine but in an urban setting. We'll be located in historic downtown Sanford, Florida. Most customers will be locals looking for a good happy hour with maybe 25% of the customers being tourists. A majority of our customers will be women. Our location is under construction but Ill attach some pictures. The interior is brick painted white with a good amount of paint coming off. The top of the tasting bar will be concrete. Decor will be mid century modern. It'll be a very hip and relaxing environment for friends to gather and enjoy wine. We will try and remove all of the pretentiousness and intimidation from wine because in the ends its just a beverage. The photo I attached of the exterior isnt exactly how it will look when we open. It will be all white with hints of gray and black. The awnings will be taken down and replace with something cooler. The interior will obviously be update as well but it gives you an idea of the brick. The last photo is how you write degrees brix, could be cool to play off of instead of using the letters B and M. BM means bowel movement lol, might want to stay away from that. I like logos the uses cool scripts and fonts. Something feminine and modern. Big wavy scripts. Something you could see paint on the white brick wall behind the bar that women in their 30s would love to take a picture with. I'd also like the focus to be on the script of the name and not so much of the traditional wine things like bottles, glasses, and grapes.
