Logo must be original as it maybe trademarked and I will also be dealing with clients outside of my area and a few in other states across America.
I would like a web 2.0 feel to the logo, clean and simple and uncomplicated (I don't want someone to have to "study" it to try and figure out what it is) but at the same time gets the point across. Would like to have the text as well as a "graphic" to be able to be used together as well as standalone if needed. I would like something that translates well across many mediums. Business cards, websites, stationary, magnetic signs (for auto), mousepads, t-shirts, other. I tend to lean towards blues, greens and grays. My largest competitor (in my area) uses a lot of orange so although I like it I would not want it to be a prominent color. I don't want the logo to look like others in the related industry.
I don't currently have a tag line so feel free to play around with that if you wish.
Spelling can either be all lower case or GetMeTechSupport.com. May want to also play around with GMTS as well. A couple of examples of current look/feel logos I like are mint.com and crashplan.com.
I tend to like logos with the "reflection" at the bottom as well but this is not a requirement.
I will need work to be in PSD/Vector format so that I may easily scale if needed. Please no "off the shelf" clip-art or other graphics see elsewhere, I like orginal.
Winning designer will have a upper leg on the next logo I intend to have designed as well (for a data backup company I own)
