Josh is absolutely fantastic. He's intelligent, thoughtful, great with feedback and adjustments and critique. I look forward to working with him again and again.
How Jay Fannin started their logo design journey
Wanting to change the current logo to match the new vision of the ministry. The new vision is discipleship. We are wanting to get each youth to be more like Christ. The name of the ministry is The Wedg. That will continue however we need a logo that will be more relevant to where we are going.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
There are three main things that the Bible say are marks of a disciple. They are obedience to God's Word (John 8:31), love for one another (John 13:35) and bearing fruit (John 15:8). Our current logo is a little out dated. We need a logo that captures the discipleship focus of the ministry. Our current logo is designed around the idea of "we are putting a Wedg between the darkness and the light. It is a heart with a cross inside it wedged in to a globe. We like the idea of something wedged, but don't have to have it. This is a logo that should capture the marks of discipleship and focal point of the ministry which is Christ.
- The Wedg (name of ministry)
- bearing fruit
- a logo that is too feminine or masculine
- a logo that is too churchy
