How rebeccamorino started their logo & hosted website journey
Who are you known as?
Creating Healing Paths
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I am a Psychedelic Guide/Facilitator. Using cannabis-assisted psychedelic therapy/plant medicine ceremony, similar to other plant medicine ceremonies (Ayahuasca, peyote) I facilitate individual and group sessions/experiences and hold space for those seeking to journey within themselves for trauma resolution, self-inquiry, problem-solving, healing, increased awareness/consciousness and spiritual evolution. I use surround sound music for a fully immersive experience. I had to select "Medical & Pharmaceutical" as the industry but that is not really the feel of my business. I hold impeccable and safe space for self-inquiry and exploration. Guiding others to their innate wisdom and ability to heal themselves. Less clinical and more spiritual and shamanic.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Medical & Pharmaceutical

I don't necessarily LOVE all the choices I had to choose from for design examples. Seeing some better examples in other people's portfolios so I hope some of those designers show up for this contest!
Thank you for considering designing a logo and website for the new business I am venturing into with the most heart, fear, hope and courage than I've ever experienced! I value creating safe, sacred and impeccably held space for someone to explore within with conscious intention. I've been a breathwork facilitator for over 10 years and this plant medicine work has been such a gift to further my own healing and that of clients I've been working with. I truly feel it is a privilege to hold space and gently guide others to their inner wisdom/guide to know, understand and heal themselves.
The photos I've attached are simply things that I feel resonate with what a design may be inspired by or have included in it. This is not my wheelhouse and I feel quite excited and intrigued by the creative process which I have approximately zero experience with except from being a stage manager for theater in college.
I love the heart rock photos..."Heart of the Cabin", I call it. A beautiful rock at my mountain cabin here in Alaska. My place of respite and solitude. I can imagine simply that as a logo but perhaps enhanced/edited with a hummingbird implemented above as though the wings turn into the leaves surrounding the rock? Or some cannabis leaves integrated within the greenery. Maybe the heart rock as my heart chakra integrated with the medicine person drawing I describe below? Though there are many things that could be integrated, a not-too-busy presentation feels good to me. What is possible with all of this? Can't wait to see!
The grade-school-like drawing is an art integration practice after a session in my Psychedelic Guide Training. A clear sign my creativity and artistic ability was stunted by trauma at an early age! Kidding/not kidding! The question prompt for the drawing exercise was, "Who are you as a Medicine Person". It started as a drawing of an anchor and expanded into what appears to me as me connecting with and anchoring my own energy and divine guidance and sharing/supporting from that place. "Spreading my wings" has become a theme as I move through self-doubt and fear, stepping more fully into this work. The other prompts/questions for that drawing and the answers/information that came through were, "Who are you?"--"I am embodied awareness. Fully healed cells and DNA expressing vibrancy and new life. I am ease in life."
"What are you?"--" Ease, integration, peace in knowing that right relationship is within, now. I am swirling life. I am integrated awareness of the light that created me."
The chair/cushion/footstool photo is simply something aesthetically pleasing to my eye. The hummingbirds are of personal significance in my healing and are a spirit animal, if you will. The glass hummingbird was my grandmother's and it hangs in my kitchen.
The photos other than the 6 logo related (first six uploaded) are for use or getting the feel for what my eye is drawn to when I take photographs, some nature and detail shots that can be used as background for website pages? Also open to use of stock photos or integrating custom design or photos. Added a couple shots that I've posted on social media of some shots of in-session/post-session photos. Many thanks!
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the logo and hosted website?
Tying in the logo design and some of the photos I provided. Simple, nature...also open to something completely different that you're inspired to create that I may love! I often don't know exactly what I love until I see it all put together.
