bhpatrik got their new merchandise by running a design contest:
Plush animal safety harness design for babies and toddlers
Check out bhpatrik's Merchandise contest…
We are a baby product trading company and want to start designing our own baby clothes and other products. The current competition is for a single product, but we would like the chosen designer to continue working with us on several other, related projects.
What's your vision?
We invite designs of a plush animal (monkey) safety harness for small children. An example of an animal harness, a lion, is here: http://www.walgreens.com/store/c/animal-planet-lion-backpack-harness/ID=prod6170431-product?ext=gooBaby_Kids_ampersand_Toys_PLA_Just_for_Fun_prod6170431_pla&adtype=pla&kpid=sku6151747&sst=3b64dbc2-a9dd-f949-32c0-00007d5909b2.
We attached pictures of a lion harness for illustrative purposes. We’d like our harness to be a monkey with a unique, cute and friendly design, but of similar size and functionality of the lion harness. The design should be relatively simple so that the plush animal is simple to manufacture, and the colors should be neutral. The fabric for the animal part is short hair plush. Dimensions of the lion harness include: - Head: height: 9.5 cm; width (from above): 14 cm; length (from the side): 16 cm. - Torso: height: 17.5 cm; maximum width: 20 cm; length: 8.5 cm. - Legs and feet, including claws: height: 14 cm, width: 4.5-8.5 cm, depth: 2-5 cm. - Length of straps and leash: Not important at the moment. In the end, we'll need sketches from the front, side and back of the harness. We'll also need dimensions so that a prototype can be manufactured.
