Business & Consulting
We are a software company, providing web and mobile solutions to small to medium sized companies. We are looking for a unified experience of our mobile applications - we are looking for a mobile app design (including splash screen) and respective icons.
We provide multiple solutions for different use cases with each having its own mobile app (kind of like Microsoft Office suite). For them we would like a unified modern design, so that the apps can be recognised as a group and is obvious they belong to the same core product. Important thing to note is, to let them be theme-able. What we mean by that is, our clients often want the app to look like it belongs to their company. So, each app should be immediately distinguishable from each other when the user uses it, but should be easy enough to replace the theme (colors) and make it feel like it belongs to a company. The apps need to use native components on Android and iOS systems (menus, tabs, etc.) to achieve native look and feel. You would only be designing one app in two versions - branded and unbranded Work Order app. This app is used kind of like Jira or Trello, however the main task is to get the daily overview of work for a field worker with all the necessary information he/she might need. We would like to apply your design approach then over variety of other apps as explained above. We expect to receive: - designed screens described below for work order app - showcase on how to apply the design to other applications to achieve group look and feel and keep them distinguishable from one another, but have the option to brand them The app consists of the following modules, of which you need to design 5: - Log in - Inbox (where you get all of your tasks for the day) - Work Order (when you open a work order task, you get all of the information connected to selected work order) - Work Order Report (where you enter some additional data of how your work went) - Overview of the work order for end customer with signature (don't design this) - Confirmation with an option to download the order as PDF (don't design this) - Create new Work Order Don’t read too much into the design, however that is the flow we are looking for. For the other, branded part, you can see on that same link that we use “TC company”. It is a fictional company, we use for showing branded work. Their color scheme is blue and gray. END OF THIS PROJECT SCOPE After this project is done, we will also require icons for a few of our apps (in a separate project). You can already see the future brief below, but it is NOT expected of you to provide them in this project. We expect 7 icons that resemble each other, but still differ enough, since it is a different product. Think about the recent Microsoft Office rebrand, where the icons speak the same design language but incorporate the main idea of each app. Another example is the Google Play family (Play Music, Play Movies, Play Store …). We like those approaches, however we wouldn’t want to have characters in icons. The design should also match the overall design language of the app. We are looking for icons for the following apps: - easywork (field workers get tasks on their phones) - easyshop (extremely simplified B2B shop) - easydelivery (think Uber Eats but for the drivers) - easytime (time tracker with working hours booking) - easycash (Day-to-day money management and status) - easyfinance (Month-over-month money management) - easyinventory (keep track of your inventory) The icons will be used across our platform (tab icon) and other services, for example app icon in mobile app stores, marketing and so on. Please do not take our website design into account, when designing, as that too, is being redesigned. For both (app and icon), you have all the creative freedom as long as you follow good UX guidelines and keep in mind that apps are for business use which means that simplicity of use and good overview over data is more important than design perks. For any additional information you might need, please do not hesitate to reach us via messages. We will reply promptly.
You can see the flow on the provided links. Please provide your designs in XD or Sketch if possible.
