Mason Soiza got their new app design by running a design contest:
Design a App for a governmental eco- receipt app that will be used worldwide
Check out Mason Soiza's App design contest…
We are working with the government to eradicate paper receipts within the retail shopping industry. With a QR code saved to you wallet on your phone, you will be able to scan at any high street shop to keep track of your purchases. If you ever need to return a item, no need to go looking for a receipt simply take the item back, scan your e-receipt code and the return is that simple. QR code that you scan at any/every shop, and it saves your receipt to the app, so if you wish to return/view the item it is as simple as a scan of your QR code from your apple wallet.
Nothing exists that is similar, but it needs to be simple and feel corporate/governmental.
E-Wallet Design I need a e-wallet designing. It is basically the same as the costa wallet attached but designed up for e-receipt. It will just have a QR code on. Needs to be simple and have our logo on. Page 1: This is the opening page of the app, It should sum up “you have spent xxx in the last 30 days” , with options to change the days to 7 days, 1 month , 3 months, 6 months and 1 year. You can design how you think this will look best. Beneath this needs to be a list of “latest purchases”, with the product name (company name underneath in the same row in a slightly different colour or whatever). With the price on the right-hand side and on the same row but underneath a status that says “3 days left to return” in green and then others that say “no return”. Page 2: If you click on the row on page 1 of a product you have bought it needs to bring up the details of that order. So, it should show “Store name”, “Store Location”, “Card used” (show last 4 digits), “Return time remaining” “Product name” “Product price”. There also needs to be a delete button on the bottom. Page 3: This page will just be a list of all the previous orders same as the bottom of page 1.

And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
