How ssturner66 started their app design journey
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Medical & Pharmaceutical
This app helps users (and their doctors) keep track of day-to-day emotional/mental wellness. Its purpose is to help them identify improved wellness, if our product is working for them as expected, and to notify us and their doctor if it is not. Furthermore, it helps the user connect side effects they are experiencing with drugs that are known to cause those side effects. It is meant to be a self-evaluation system based on the science and experience we have had over the past 20 years using nutrition to treat mental wellness.
Because this is a complex project, we are using this contest to find a designer to work with long term and initially are looking for UI/UX of one of the screens. Attached is a wireframe of the complete app, please choose a screen to focus on based on your opinion of which is the most important to "get right".
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the app?
Something that is user friendly for mobile and desktop use. Something both the young and the old can use and work with. See the attached mock.
Attached is a wireframe of the complete app, please consult it to understandl the workflows of this app. This wireframe is not meant to be overly prescriptive. It's very desktop oriented but most of our users will be using the mobile app version. We expect the design difference between the wireframe and mobile versions to be fairly significant since, for example, the sidebars simple can't be displayed on a mobile screen alongside the main content. In other words, please feel free to completely change the layout in order to improve it.
What to avoid
Many of our users suffer from ADD, depression, and other emotional illnesses. The design of this app must first and foremost cater to their needs and avoid aggravating an agitated or distracted mental state.
