Danielscocco got their new app design by running a design contest:
YELLOW PAGES FOR WHATSAPP - COME DESIGN OUR MAIN SCREEN
Check out Danielscocco's App design contest…
Our app works like Yellow Pages for WhatsApp. Users search for what they are looking for, or browse through categories, and the app lists professionals and businesses that answer via WhatsApp in the city of the user.
We are looking for something clean and professional. The current version uses yellow but you are free to change and suggest other color schemes. You can also play around with our logo and app icon.
Examples are provided in the attachments. Screen 1: the main screen of the app, used for search and category browsing. It should include the following elements: - Logo (you are free to change our logo if you believe you can make it look better inside this screen) - Search bar - A text displaying how many professionals / businesses are available in current city - Categories and Subcategories (one idea is to make categories scrolling vertically and subcategories horizontally) - A button where users can click to create a professional / business profile - A keypad icon / widget that the user can click to open a modal. On that modal the user can input a number and click on "Go" to start a WhatsApp chat. - 5 bottom navigation icons / buttons (1 = search; 2 = promotions / deals; 3 = WhatsApp groups; 4 = My points / rewards; 5 = My profile / account) Screen 2: search results. Please include the following elements: - Search bar - Standard store / professional result - Premium store / professional result (those are the professional who pay us monthly so they should be more visible) - Filter icon (we need to allow users to filter by name, order by proximity, change the radius of the search) - Widget / button to switch back and forth between professionals / businesses results and WhatsApp groups results
