How Bords started their other graphic design journey
I need a great graphic illustration for this project for a start up consulting firm specializing in college admissions counseling. High school kids often need a good strategy or "roadmap" to take them step by step through their high school years, to build up to applying to top colleges and presenting themselves in a way that helps them stand out from the crowd. This project is for an illustration for the inside spread of a 3 panel brochure based on navigation using roadmap iconography. While there are clear steps and a lot to do- especially in Junior year, students still want to have a life- you know-get drivers licence, go to homecoming dance, time for facebook...etc. so it should look FUN!
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The primary target audience is parents with a secondary audience being High School students. The parents are sophisticated, possibly driven, and have high expectations. They also have the wherewithal to hire a consultant to help them through this process. High School students are most likely taking honors classes, and have very good grades. Many would like to go to Ivy league schools or top tier. They are also kids!
Customers- parents and students need direction on the road to college.
