Astried did a fantastic job creating an app design that conveyed the emotion and joy that I was hoping for. She easily stood out amongst the rest of the pack and was very easy to work with.

to make Jeremy's wife happy
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
For my wife's birthday, I want to make her smile a lot. :)
I am working on a little app for my wife called "People Who Love You." It's a simple app that just shows quotes, pictures and stories about her from her friends and family.
The idea is that she could pick it up anytime she wanted to smile and it would randomly select a single piece of content to show her (for example, a quote from a co-worker saying she was really helpful.) If she wanted another one, she could just shake the phone and it would present her with another one.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I would love to have 4 straight forward screens designed, and a simple loading screen if you have time. I have attached a basalmiq mockup of the loading screen and the 4 different types of content. They are:
1) A quote about my wife. ie: "You are fun and always make me laugh." - Johnny A.
2) Three words about her: "According to Johnny A, you are: Fun, Smart and Creative."
3) A photo and a caption.
4) A longer story about her that can be scrolled.
As far as a design direction goes, it should be happy. No sense reading a happy quote in a sad design. :p
The designs will be converted into an HTML app that can be seen on her iPhone. The screen size is 320w x 480h and I would prefer to be able to use one of the Google Webfonts, although that can be a little flexible: http://www.google.com/webfonts
I'm not sure you need demographics, but my wife is a 28 yo caucasian from Kansas City who likes sports and is pretty good with her iPhone.
As far as the rest goes, just smile while you're working on this. The rest might come naturally. :)
