Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
C&K is a food concept offering only two menu items: crepes and karak (chai latte). The business will be housed in a University building targeting students, staff, and faculty of various ages.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
The company has rented an area of 12sqm (4X3 meters) for a food kiosk. The area rented is a corner with not too high ceilings (2.5-3 meter ceiling). The kiosk will open everyday between 7 am to 7pm serving the crepe and tea through the day.
The batter for the crepe will be prepared for the day every morning at the kiosk, so its important to have a working space for the mixing. The tea will be prepared on an electric stove through the day and stored in a large boiler.
The kiosk will need to include the following:
-Crepe station (made of two crepe machines, and space to house the crepe batter/toppings).
-Coffee machine space
-Tea making station (electric stove and a large boiler)
-Water for sink
-Cabinets for storage of dry items
-Counter for payment
-A display space for the menu
The area has low ceiling so its critical that the space feels light, and not too congested or busy. The flow of people should be seamless. The colours of the design should complement the logo (attached). I am looking for a creative design that is modern but with a twist.
