Studio16a (Dale) had a task to supply our brief in the fact we had no idea what we really wanted, thats why we joined 99designs for inspiration. We were time poor and did not have lead in time to research options out there. I found other logo's of Dales and loved his unique and broad approach. Dale was patient and gave us options to consider with font, colour palets and icons that led us to our logo. We are very proud to sport our unique logo within the construction industry. A big token of thanks and appreciation to a talented designer.

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach

The goal of TrailCross.com is to build a simple online mapping tool to aide the outdoor enthusiast in his/her outdoor trip planning. TrailCross.com will encourage more individuals to experience and interact with nature by showing them how easy it is to plan an outdoor adventure. The website, using the customer’s logistical needs and outdoor interests, will allow the user to plan his/her specific outdoor travel, or suggest outdoor adventures within the same geographic region. The website will also recommend local experts as guides or for instruction, if needed.

What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?

I am looking to have a working prototype or beta version of TrailCross.com created to accompany my business plan. I am looking for clean, but sophisticated design with no bugs. I prefer the Web 2.0 look. I have uploaded a mock-up of what the finished look should resemble. I have also uploaded the TrailCross logo. I prefer to have the finished product work with Wordpress, so I can update the site using HTML. I need a design that is editable, as I will be adding plugins, such as Google maps and Weatherbug.
