Food & Drink
We are re-branding our vending machine company from Nutrivend Inc. to Shooga. We've learned that the name Nutrivend is used by others in California and in the UK so we wanted something new, different, simple, and versatile. Shooga currently provides vending services in a local university and primarily focuses on healthy snacking. We try to look for ingredients that don't contain artificial flavors, are part of the non-gmo project, organic (not always), allergy-friendly, and all things good. We value food and what goes into our bodies and we want to help change the way people snack, but also satisfy certain cravings. For sweet tooth cravings, we are trying to find the same snack, but without the nasty ingredients. For instance, Kellogg rice krispie treats would be replaced with Annie's Homegrown Crispy Snack because they use better ingredients like organic cane sugar and real vanilla flavor and vanilla extract! P.S. we are always changing snacks for the better...if we find something new on the market and absolutely love the ingredients/taste/cost, we will introduce it in our machines. We also like suggestions from customers so we started a virtual suggestion box! We would love to target large accounts such as local universities, corporate offices, co working spaces, etc... Places where there is a lot of foot traffic and a need for good snacks. Our machines are aesthetically pleasing and have credit card readers, apple/google pay, drop sensor (detects if the snack purchased dropped successfully, if it doesn't' then you don't get charged if you used a credit card), refrigerated (which allows us to have a combination of snacks and drinks all in one machine). For corporate offices or co-working spaces we are looking to use a micro-market concept that allows customers to "self-checkout" items. The micro-market would be designed specifically to fit the space available.
What's your vision?
We are trying really hard to provide better snacks to change the way people eat on the go. Feel free to be creative. We want to tell a story through a leaflet brochure that talks about what we do and why, the ingredients we look for in the snacks we choose, the convenience of our machines (smart technology), and letting people know that 10% of our proceeds are donated to World Vision. Our current university location allows us to sponsor one child through world vision (see World Vision details to learn how sponsoring a child helps empower them and give them the basic needs to live a better quality of life). We also want to let potential customers know (ex: corporate office/co-working spaces) that we are flexible and if a micro-market concept is what they want, we'll make it work! The two most important details we want to get across are: 1) Our story (everyone wants a story right?) 2) Our snacks and the ingredients How we will use this brochure/leaflet: We put together sample boxes to give to potential accounts that will give them a little taste/snapshot of what we put in our machines. We need a booklet or brochure that tells them who we are and why we are different.
I made our logo using the website canva.com. We wanted something clean and simple that represents our company well and would like the same to be translated in a brochure. I provided our old flyers and marketing stuff just for you to see. They are not that great, but this is what we were working with before. I feel that they highlighted our machines more, but we needed to refocus our brand and make it more about the snacks we choose. Don't use the name nutrivend! We are now Shooga :] Feel free to use "Don't Settle For Junk" we kind really like it, but open to other suggestions. A little background story on the name Shooga: Shooga is the Armenian word for market. We are a husband and wife team and both our families come from Armenia.
