erineD got their new poster by running a design contest:
3 Digital Course Posters for a New Fitness App
Check out erineD's Poster contest…
MVT Fitness is a new fitness app launching in early 2022, targeting home gym users and individuals looking to self-guide through workout classes. Courses can be completed in a living room, in a home gym, or in a commercial gym, depending on the equipment needed for the course and a users' access to that equipment. This app will have a variety of courses curated for specific segments/personas with different goals and fitness levels. These personas range from beginner/getting back into fitness to very experienced, physically fit individuals. This app also has a coaching aspect where real coaches will be assigned to some users, recommending relevant courses, helping address form, and assisting users in reaching specific fitness goals. Our brand message is "Empowering your home gym experience through coaching, courses and community." Our tagline is "Movement with motivation, made simple."
What's your vision?
Looking to have three course posters designed (ALL IN, Cheetah Wheel, and Use It to Lose It). Each course has its own name, but is targeted toward one of the personas: Use It to Lose It --> Off the Couch (beginner/getting back into fitness), Cheetah Wheel --> Middle Pack Badass (somewhat experienced/intermediate), and ALL IN --> Heavy Metal (experienced/advanced). Posters should each have their own look and feel - different colors, photography styles, and fonts are welcomed, using the attached spec sheets and personas word document. Each poster should entice a user to click and enroll, and should emulate the persona, course name and description through its colors, font, treatment, and photo. Posters will be used in a variety of places throughout the app - side by side with other posters or, in other instances, as the background for overlaid text and course information. They should be simple enough to work as a background but exciting enough to stand on their own. The original concept for the app was to follow the look and feel of a streaming service such as Netflix, Hulu, or the like. Stock photography is acceptable, but we want the images to look like real people – not too “stock photo-y”. Photos do not need to be limited to people working out, either; if a different image represents the course name and persona, go for it! Attaching some example posters we are using for app beta testing and a spec sheet for each poster.
