How Richard Howes started their print or packaging design journey
UPDATE: I would like to see design with a more professional, non-animal look without being overly "corporate". Please see my discussion feedback.
We are in urgent need of a brochure to be designed for our software company. It should preferably be A5, but I am open to other submissions from the experts here if they feel differently.
There will very likely be follow up work with a logo design almost certainly to follow if this competition is successful. A complete re-branding is also a possibility, and a web site redesign is definite follow up project.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We would like an A5 brochure aimed at business owners of private game lodges in Southern Africa.
The goal is a high impact, high level brochure to entice people to find out more and not a detailed product brochure. It is likely however that some product, technology, and system architecture will be included at a high level since it illustrates the uniqueness of our product and niche market fit.
Our clients are down-to-earth types (mostly) and do not have a corporate outlook. So we are looking for a balance between a professional look and feel while remaining close to our niche market which is up-market but not "corporate".
- Item 1...
- I don't want an animal based theme. Apologies to those who have submitted designs already.
- I want a professional look/feel without being too "corporate"
- I would prefer a photo based cover page but this is not a requirement.
