We are looking for someone to design fun labels for our Evolved Spreadz containers. We would like to see designs for all three of our flavors, Pesto, Tangy Sundried Tomato, and Smokey Chipotle. The vintage/retro style really appeals to us because that type of nostalgic look tends to convey brands to be wholesome and good for you. We love color, but in the retro palette. We will attach some pictures of styles we like so that you can get a sense of our taste. It is very important to us that the labels look fun and make the product appeal to consumers as exciting food to eat! Some information that we would like on the label includes: The "TM" symbol next to Evolved Spreadz (please only use Evolved Spreadz on the label and not Snack Evolution); "No Gluten, Dairy, Soy, GMO's" or "Free of Gluten, Dairy, Soy, GMO's"; "Vegan". It doesn't have to be the exact language as above, but should include that information. A possible label idea that we thought about was drawing an equation with a symbol for a doctor + a symbol for a chef=Evolved Spreadz. We are by NO means locked in to that design, but just thought we would throw that into the description here. Please do NOT show a picture of an ape evolving into a human. We're not fans of that typical evolution drawing.
The packaging is an 8 oz. deli style container that is clear and round. We would like the top lid to have a label. The lid is 4 1/2" in diameter. We would also like there to be a label that wraps around the body of the container, which has a 13" circumference. It can be one continuous label (and doesn't have to cover the full circumference) or two separate labels. The one on the front would be for the consumer to easily identify the product by the front of the container, rather than having to look at the top of the container. Then, the other label on the back would contain the nutritional panel, ingredient list, and UPC code. If it was one continuous label, the UPC & Nutritional Panels, etc, need to wind up towards the back of the product. Please put generic nutritional labels, UPC codes, and leave room for the ingredient lists. In this area of the label, the following statements need to be included: "Contains tree nuts" , "Not pasteurized", and "Must be refrigerated". The designer who wins must be willing to go back and place the official nutritional panels, ingredient lists, and UPC codes on the final designs. The winning designer must also be willing to tweak the design before and after the competition, and in a timely manner. The owners of Snack Evolution also request that the winner be willing to sign a contract agreeing to give Snack Evolution, LLC complete ownership of these designs and should be open to work on future flavors and products we develop. We are looking to create a relationship with a designer that can be our "go to" person for future projects as well. We are hoping to launch three more Spreadz flavors in the near future.
Lastly, we are very excited about this project and are thrilled to see the designs that get created! We are so grateful to those of you who submit entries and take the time to help us make our dreams a reality :) If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact us at email@example.com. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!
