Description of the product
We are creating a new wine brand and opening a winery/tasting room. We are a high quality winery with a unique environment.
Description of the product target audience
21+ age group. Wine lovers. We would like to target the newer wine drinking generation (millennial) as well as the established wine crowd. We are offering a broad range of wine pricing and would like to appeal to as many income levels as possible. We will be offering a standard, broadly distributed wine line, and a reserve wine line where pricing will differ.
We are looking for a wine label to be designed. Our winery is called Belledor which is a combination of the word Belle (french for Beauty) and Amador (Spanish for Lover; which is also where the winery is located). Belle is the nickname of one of the owners which was given to her representing the movie Beauty and the Beast. We are playing with the idea of incorporating the rose (more modern than the stained glass look) from the movie (stem, thorns, etc.) into the wine label, however it is not a requirement. We like the concept of the thorns and maybe putting a "darker" twist into the label.
The location of our winery is in the middle of a vineyard next to a large pond. Nature will be a key element in our winery and so we are also playing with the idea of a more abstract (unique and that will catch a millennial's eye) nature wine label. We like the idea of a modern style when it comes to the label as our winery is a modern building incorporating a lot of stone, wood, metal and glass.
What to avoid
This will be a wine label so it will need to be no larger than what could fit on a bottle. No larger than: 4" x 3" and no smaller than: 3" x 2"
We also like the idea of "interesting" shapes. Square labels are not required.
