Reserve Tastings Wine Company
Description of the product
It is high end, boutique wines with unique music-related artwork on the label. The name on this design would simply be STRUM
Description of the product target audience
Higher end wine drinkers and members of our private wine company.
We are looking for an artistic take on a Shepard Fairey inspired label design. The concept would be to use a guitar pick as strong centerpiece to the design, like Shepherd does with using peoples images. The remainder would be a street art, mixed media-like wine label using retro elements, along with the black and red color palates. Please see attached image for ideal direction.
What to avoid
We want the artwork to be inspired by Shepard Fairey, but not a direct knock off or trademark issue.

And then… they selected a winner!
VirgiDesign created a lovely and elegant design, perfectly matching our wine and the style of the bottle. Working with VirgiDesign was very exciting and challenging. I appreciated the easy going attitude, the fast answers and feedback, the patience and especially the vision from the designer. We received very positive professional feedback for this wine-label during our poll.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
