alan NS got their new product label by running a design contest:
Exciting New Rose wine label needed from France
Check out alan NS's Product label contest…
Food & Drink
The target audience is 65% women, college educated and urban. Think of designing the perfect elegant, classy and eye catching label for a 45 year old woman choosing which Rose wine to pick to drink on the patio with her girl friends.
What's your vision?
The label needs to be designed to gain consumers attention when seen on a store shelf or on the back of a bar. It should be elegant and really speak to the fact the wine is refreshing and light. The name must be easy to read but the shape, color and graphics are very much open to interpretation. Buying a rosé wine is almost as much about romance as it is pure enjoyment, and the label should enhance this feeling. On the botlle it will have the brand name "Fabre en Provence" but in smaller font below it must say "Cotes de Provence A.O.P." and "2016". Please read attachment for much more information.
Wine – The wine will be a salmon-colored rosé. It will be in a clear bottle, so it is important to understand the label you design will be surrounded by a beautiful light pink wine. The wine will have an elegant floral aroma, with flavors of cherry and melon on the palate. It is the perfect summer wine. Dimensions -- Maximum dimensions of the label are top label (h-68mm, l-118mm) bottom label (h-39mm, l-108mm). It could have either a single label or two labels on the front. As you will see from the bottles below, the shapes, sizes and placements are very open to design ideas.
