Our SELECTION 23 range of wines is in need of a facelift.
We are looking for a front label design only!
a) the Selection 23 brand name to be the single design element/focal point
b) the Selection 23 brand name to be incorporated into an illustration
I don't need 9 designs - 1 or 2 is fine, but there are be 9 wine varieties in total: Sparkling, 4 x white varieties, and 4 x red varieties.
(I will be looking to roll out designs for all 9 varieties, but if all of the labels have a similar look with each variety having minor variations, I'd be more than happy to do these myself. However, if a more detailed concept is proposed where major changes or individual illustrations are required by variety - I'll be happy to work with the winning designer through a 1-to-1 Project to complete the remaining designs after the contest is finished.)
• Bottle - Please use the bottle blanks supplied.
• Screwcap - please do not change or edit the screwcap on the supplied bottles, your design needs to work with this white & gold screwcap
• Size - no larger than 120mm tall, no larger than 100mm wide.
Shape and size within these constraints is up to you.
• After the Selection 23 brand name the next focal point needs to be the variety. Examples as follows:
- Sauvignon Blanc
- Cabernet Merlot
We want the label to be a bit funky and non traditional, and at the forefront of fashion trends and colours.
In a busy bottleshop, where shelves are crowded and the choice can be overwhelming, learnings from consumer psychology tell us that most wine sales are made purely on the strength and appeal of the label.
Our consumers are looking for a wine with a design they can relate to or engage with. It is likely to be a reflection of how they feel or want to feel when they are enjoying a glass of wine.
Our consumer wants something unique and expensive looking.
