Karmeliter is one of the oldest breweries in Germany, founded by monks in the year 1352. since 1923 it is family owned. The brewery itself produces less than 10.000 Hectoliters of beer in the countryside of Bavaria, which makes it small and beautiful, focusing on quality, tradition and regional ingredients.The target group are beer drinkers looking for a quality promise and a brewery with heritage and focus on tradition.
What's your vision?
We would like to have an update of our current label. Especially the area behind the monk in the inner part of the label needs some refreshment. We consider it a little bit to old fashioned and not really tasty. The beer type has to be changed from "Lager" to "Bayerisch Hell". "Der Hochgenuß mit Tradition" is changing to "Der Hochgenuß mit Klostertradition".
