Description of the product
Product: Rio Strong is a 16% alcohol carbonated wine that is sweet and light red in color. It is positioned as a STRONG party drink. It unique selling proposition is that is delivers an instant buzz and is a hit with younger people. It is available in the Indian market since a few years. Photos are attached. Also please check the website www.riofizzywine.com for more info. Packaging: The pack size is 330 ml. It has a ring pull cap (like in Tuborg beer) so it is convenient to drink it right away, anytime, anywhere. Pricing: A bottle is affordably priced at an equivalent of US$1.50 for a 330 ml bottle.
Description of the product target audience
Our primary target group would be men from 18 years of age and above but also include women from 18 to 40 in the urban and tier 2 areas. A Rio Strong drinker is bold – never afraid to explore something new, ambitious and strong headed, never settles/ compromises.
We would like to have designed a new and fresh Rio Strong label (both body and neck labels). The new look has to depict strength and yet be modern, contemporary, cool and funky while targeted at a young audience. The main Rio logo and font needs to stay the same (The STRONG font can change if required). We are open to all other changes which fit into the brand personality. We also need the new design to be adapted to a soon to be launched variant - “Rio Strong Extra Dry”. This will be a white carbonated wine packaged in the same clear bottle. It will carry the same elements as the first label, but perhaps have a different colour scheme to differentiate it and carry the words “EXTRA DRY”. Attached is the brochure of our other Rio brand called Rio Spritzer. This is an 8% alcohol flavoured wine cooler. This is just to give you an idea of the other brands in our portfolio. Also attached are pictures of a competing brand called "BRO CODE". The packaging has been well received in the market. We feel that their design is more cool / contemporary as compared to ours.
What to avoid
The main Rio logo and font needs to stay the same (The STRONG font can change if required). The bottle shape remains the same.
The body label height should not exceed 80 mm. The width should be approximately 120 mm which will include mandatory information on both sizes. The neck label size has to remain more or less the same as the existing one - 18 mm x 70 mm, and will be applied in the same angular way, which is a limitation of our labeling machine.
