Maya Tea is looking for a quick design for a label that we
will be applying on our packages of tea for all orders sold on our website.
We want a simple, attractive label which incorporates the following guidelines
(we will be entering all the content for each tea label):
Brand: Maya Tea Company (Logo Included)
Individual Tea Name: Ex. Relaxing Mint Herbal Tea

peppermint, and floral lavender. This infusion is a calming tea, perfect for
tranquility and healing. Colds, flu, headaches and stress can be relieved with
the herbs that make up our relaxing blend. Enjoy this delicious tea anytime,
hot or iced with a touch of sweetener.
Ingredients: Ex: Chamomile Flowers, Peppermint, Lavender

a 6 oz. cup of water. For Black Tea use boiling hot water, steep for 2-3 min.,
2-3 infusions can be made for each serving.

No cartoons or animals characters. Serious tea for not so serious people.
Label Size: 3x5"
Type face: clear and bold, will need to stand out from the
crowd and say "look at me!"
Color: for main color we would like to use the colors in our
logo, however, we also like: Pantone Orange 021C,Cranberry Pantone 192C, Green
Bag shape is a rectangular, paper brown kraft color.
We are not particularly attached to a tea leaf or cup. We do
like botanical references, parchment, and cleanness. We do like an east Indian
influence. Don't mind a character stamp. We are looking to convey
"great taste comes in a small cup." We want to reflect joy,
vibrancy, botanical, exotic, and great taste.
The files we will require are:
Print file format – 300 dpi, EPS (CMYK) and PSD (CMYK)
Side Note: We print all labels on an in-house commercial
grade label printer, so we must keep the colors to a minimum-not too dark or
overbearing, clean and simple. The name of the tea should be at the top
and the net weight and serving size would be best on the bottom and centered.
