Nowita was very helpful and creative in the designing of our logo and label. He had a great eye and ablity, along with be receptive and accomadating to all the request made of him. I would be happy to work with him or suggest him to anyone for work.
Googlecat obviously knew from the beginning what I wanted - as she came up with a great concept and design on her first submission. It required only small tweeks on my end which she made promptly and efficiently. I would definitely use her again. Thanks Googlecat!
Amazing work. Will hire again. Thx
How Jeremy - Hastings started their product label journey
Who are you known as?
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Food & Drink
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We breed our own high class beef. We use our beef to make excellent tasting pies.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We produce "The Original Steer & Beer Pie", so this is the product name here. We work with a company called Old Dairy Brewery and use their beer in the pies - their logo must be prominent within the label design and their overall brand style considered - see http://www.olddairybrewery.com
Our logo will appear on reverse labelling which is not needed right now.
The look and feel must span between stereotypical Texan/Western cowboy styles and that of "Ye Olde England", and quality, traditional, genuine, freshness, wholesome, honest and above all "natural" elements must somehow be included. A slightly less formal aspect with some humour would be good, but no American flag please as our market appreciate the British nature of the product.
I have included our Scalands Farm logo for your reference - it should not be included on the label design but I feel you should be aware of our brand. The final label size will be approximately 100mm X 100mm - all colours welcome. Finally, our products are different and we want to stand apart from the obvious eco-friendly, safe, caring, romantic countryside imagery. Big, bold and ballsy!
