Poggio Vignoso winery
Description of the product
Poggio Vignoso is a Chianti wine that has been around for 1,300 years. It has always over-delivered on quality and the winery strives to make every vintage better than the last, while continuing to make it affordable for most wine consumers.
Description of the product target audience
Our wines are sold through both grocery/wine stores as well as restaurants. The demographics would be 60/40 men/women, college educated, 24-49, living in urban/suburban locations.
The current label is a watercolor of the property which was originally done by one of the winemakers daughter. It has worked over the past couple decades, but we are now in need of an upgrade. We want to make sure the consumers who currently buy the brand can still find it but we would like the new label to be a little more modern than the rustic watercolor. We would like the label to look a little more upscale. Although the basic image should remain it could be in a different style, size or place on the label. We are open to different printing types with foils or embossing. We are also open to new fonts. Two items that we have talked about, but are certainly not mandatory, would be having a visual nod to the fact the brand has been around for 1300 years or creating an icon out of the letters PV (again neither are mandatory unless it improves your design). Do not worry about the gold sticker on the label we are only focused on the label artwork. We want the label designed and shown on a Bordeaux bottle similar to the current bottle. The size and shape of the label is open. Right now, it is a two piece label but we would like to go to a single label.
What to avoid
I would avoid neon colors. We want the bottle to pop on the shelf but not look cheap.
