Other color requirements
One label is for a red wine; the other is for a white wine. Color should probably relate to the color of the wine (Sauvignon Blanc - yellow or green) (Cabernet Sauvignon Red or Purple) but also relate to the hue of the cover crop being highlighted on the label (e.g., White Mustard is yellow and green)

Crimson Clover Cabernet Sauvignon
Description of the product
This is a line of wines so we'll need the design to allow for versatility. After finding a layout and design we like for the red wine, we'll work with the designer on the other label variations. We want to feature the idea of a cover crop in the logo (explanation of what that is below). One prominently used cover crop is the Crimson Clover. We think using this as the brand name and incorporating it into the imagery of a vineyard's cover crop is a compelling idea. We want a label that subtly introduces the story of cover crop usage, "Fundamental to our work of reviving and sustaining old vineyards is the use of cover crops. I would argue that cover crops in some ways are just as important as the vines themselves for creating quality wine from sustainably farmed vineyards. Essentially, they are a tool by which we can harness the power of nature and lessen the use of heavy equipment and materials to address vineyard pests."
Description of the product target audience
The wine will be imported from Castilla y Leon (NW Spain) and will be sold to independent restaurants and boutique retail shops. The wine will be $10.00 retail or $7.00 by-the-glass on a restaurant menu.
