Gummy Bear Recipe (Bold and Underlined)
2 1/2 t unflavored gelatin
3oz box of flavored gelatin (or Sugar free Gelatin)
1/4t citric acid (optional for tart taste)
1/3 cup water
Mix your gelatin, box of flavored gelatin, pectin and citric acid if using together in a small bowl. Put your water in a small bowl and sprinkle your dry gelatin mixture over it and let sit for 5 minutes to bloom. This will soften your gelatin and make it easier to melt without clumping. Pour into a small saucepan and melt over low heat just until dissolved. You can do this in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds to make sure it melts evenly and doesn't overflow. Once your gelatin is melted pour into your molds and let set at room temp or refrigerate till firm. Store in an airtight container in your fridge if you don't finish them. They taste best at room temperature.
(optional) The citric acid gives a sour taste. You can also mix a Tablespoon or 2 of sugar and a 1/2t of citric acid to roll your gummies in to give them a sour taste.

Right side of box (11.5:x0.75"):
Wash in warm soapy water and dry before storing. Silicone molds are flexible and easy to store however it is recommended that you store them flat to extend the life of your mold. Keep away from flame and sharp objects as it will damage your silicone mold.
It is not necessary to spray your molds with oil before using. However if the finished product is not firm you may want to try to spray your molds to help keep detail during the release of your product.
To prevent cross contamination Use one mold for food and one for crafts, AVOID using the same mold for both food and crafts.
