Killer at Large
killeratlarge.co -> website has not been launched yet
This is a subscription box, so the product/box contents will change each month, but the box will stay the same, so you do not need to include a product name on the box. Instead, be sure to include the brand name (Killer at Large) using the logo.
Description of the product
We sell subscription boxes where customers are given clues and are trying to solve a murder and identify the killer. We are looking for the packaging design for the subscription box. We would like the box to reflect the "dark", "scary", "ominous", "chilling", "creepy" nature of the subject matter of our product. We are definitely open to whatever creative ideas you have that might align with our product.
Description of the product target audience
Our target audience is anyone who is interested in murder/true-crime tv shows and podcasts, such as Dateline.
You only need to design the OUTSIDE of the box, not the inside. The inside will be blank. On the box we would like the "logo", "icon", and/or "side logo" included (I provided these files as attachments on this brief.) somewhere on the top of the box. In addition, please include our web address (killeratlarge.co) somewhere on the box in a font that you think matches our brand vibe. Perhaps include this web address on one of the thin sides or front or back of the box. In addition to the logo/icon/side logo, if you add some sort of graphic on the box that you think supports/matches the logo, that would be great. Perhaps this could be "dripping blood" or some other similar graphic that you think looks good.
What to avoid
Please do not include photos. Instead use graphics, if you would like.
Please see the attached dieline file. Interior dimensions are 12 inches x 9 inches x 1 inch. If you create your artwork in Adobe Illustrator using our dieline file, please: 1. Avoid moving, rotating or manipulating the dieline layer (this layer is currently locked in that file) 2. Create a separate “artwork” layer to add your design elements
