Pixel Art Kit
Description of the product
We're Pix Perfect. We are a new art platform where round sequins are hung from pegs on a panel board to create pixel art that can be proudly displayed. (Hence, why our logo is a proud peacock) We are offering a pixel art kit with 12 basic color sequins, where the user can create their own design or follow one of the design ideas that we will provide in a booklet. Because of this, our product is often compared to Lite Brite.
Description of the product target audience
This product can be used by ages 6+ but also appeals to teens and adults. Our product may be popular with children that are looking to create simple images like a rocket or smiley face. Whereas a teen or adult may want to create their favorite video game character (i.e. 8 bit designs/characters like Super Mario Bros. or superhero.) Because of this, we would want the packaging to appeal to all ages. Also note, that we will have our artwork displayed and this kit for sale in Comic Cons as our product translates well for creating video game and comic book characters. While we can't showcase these characters on our packaging due to licensing, we want to appeal to this audience as well. The product will retail for $50-$60 USD depending on where we are selling it. As mentioned, we will sell this kit at Comic Cons as well as through our website, ebay, and Amazon. We hope to later be selling through other retail locations, so it should appeal to hobbyists, do-it-yourself enthusiasts, crafters, and people wanting to purchase an art kit for themselves or others as a gift.
