Was great, Jane provided more than was initially requested mid-stream when we needed a change.
Great to work with.
How dj6cs started their product packaging journey
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
Colors of the packaging should be consistent with our existing logos so there is brand recognition communicated via color. This is not to say there shouldn't be a splash of something new and not seen before as this IS a new product line that we don't currently have, jerky. We are going to have chicken jerky, venison jerky, turkey jerky etc. So this is the beginning of our new jerky line.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
This is USA made duck jerky with sweet potato. Its moister than the chicken jerky you think of. Guaranteed Analysis is uploaded as well and needs to be on the bag. There is also a SKU which needs to be on the back of the bag (the 12oz FNSKU) will go on the back of the 12 oz bag and I will supply the other SKU for the other sized bag
Description of the product target audience
People who love their dogs would buy it.
You can see our current packaging in the photos uploaded, these are our current products. We are coming out with a new duck and sweet potato jerky product. What we want to do from the start is have our bags printed rather than a clear bag with a sticker which is how we do our current products. So I am looking for a design that is similar in motif to our current labels but that takes advantage of the real estate of the whole bag. I wanted originally to do a paper bag with a clear window but that is too expensive. I like the look of the matte bags that you see Merrick and Castor and Pollux using on their dog food and treat bags. The matte look makes it look more pure and high end. The front should say the duck and sweet potato are from the US with a colored Flag to point this up. Also see the photo above with the Guaranteed Analysis, this needs to be on the backk of the bag.
Also, once this is designed, I will want other work done using the same design just adopting it to different sized bags same product. Also then there will be work using the same design but for different types of jerky.
The dimensions of this job is for the 12 oz bag and is included int he dieline drawing above.
