Description of the product
Seltzer is a type of drink containing carbonated water (soda), alcohol, and often flavouring. Seltzers are considered to be relatively healthier options to regular alcohol owing to the fact that they are diluted and contain a lesser sugar content. Its unique selling point is that it appeals to health enthusiasts that like to keep their calorie intake in check while not compromising on a good buzz or taste.
Description of the product target audience
Seltzers are going to be the next trend in india, so our target audience will be - young people from 21 to 35 years of age but also health conscious crowd that falls in the age group of 36 to 45. Seltzer is a light flavourful alcoholic beverage that can be a better alternative to beer. A Rio Seltzer drinker is a spontaneous, energetic, outgoing and active person who is up to try new things. In other words "An urban audience".
Background: Rio Fizzy Wine is a fun fizzy wine brand that has the values of fun, friends and party. It's all about demistifying wine, making it affordable, and doing your own thing. Rio has been available in the Indian market since the last 10 years with its sub-brands - Rio Strong (high alcohol party drink) and Rio Spritzer (a wine based flavoured spritzer). For mor information please visit our website www.riofizzywine.com Packaging design: We want a packaging design for a new sub-brand called "Rio Seltzer". It will be wine based, carbonated, 4.9% v/v alcohol, low carb and sugar free. The flavour variant is called "Chilli Mojito". We also need the following mentioned in a reasonably prominent way, so as to highlight that this is a healthier / low cal alternative. 90 cal 2 g carb Sugar free Three adjectives to keep in mind while designing the can is that it needs to look: Instagramable Light Modern As mentioned previously the flavour that you will be designing for is called “Chilli Mojito” which is a fusion of a spice and a classic cocktail - a flavour profile that will attract an Indian urban audience. The flavour needs to come out reasonably prominently in the packaging.
What to avoid
Please don’t make any changes to our Rio logo, except for colour. You may do minor changes such as a border, for example.
500 ml can, all the required dimensions have been attached along with the rio logo above, kindly refer to it. File name "Dimensions.pdf". Also attached are the artwork files of our existing Can product "Rio Strong" Once the winning design is selected it can be adapted to this artwork.
