I created this logo for a surf-inspired clothing company. I wanted it to be a typographic logo, yet incorporate the suggestion of the ocean/sea through the shape of a fish in an organic way, to create a single coherent visual unit. I chose a wavy, flexible line flowing across the whole logo as a suggestion of surfing and the beach, using some accents to reinforce this suggestion - the two inside curved lines paired with the shape of the C in .Co, indicating water through a splash. The oval composition resembles the shape of a badge, giving the logo a bit of a vintage vibe. I wanted to create an expressive, dynamic design that illustrates and can represent a unique identity and a lot of character, conveying cool, loose and creative.
