Taken from the contest brief:
" The book tells the story of a historic church—the same one that George Washington served as a vestryman over two centuries ago(...) Within a decade, the church was building a huge new building next to the historic sanctuary to host its thousands of members. But the authentic faith that helped drive this growth ran into conflict with a mainline denomination. The conflict eventually led to separation and costly litigation. The church that had thrived for so long lost its property—the priceless land and buildings that Washington had once graced. Was it worth the cost? What would happen after such a loss? Washington’s church awakened, and not in the ways anyone could have predicted."
