michael.muttiah got their new t-shirt by running a design contest:
Cool Chic Design For Young Asian Women
Check out michael.muttiah's T-shirt contest…
A London/ UK Vibe
You can add any logo icon and any size. Above anything else it must be cute. Young Asian girls love things that are cute! The T-Shirt will be used as a free giveaway, and is aimed at young Asian women who have come to the UK to study. Imagine a 19-year old Asian girl who has dreamed of coming to the UK and London since she was 5 years old. She thinks about Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Picadilly Circus, Oxford Street and also the beautiful Kent Countryside and sea side towns. She loves the freedom, the ability to express herself and being allowed to grow into a woman without her parents breathing down her neck. She works hard during her studies, loves her pyjamas, meeting friends to go and eat, and secret late night chocolate. When term times, her and her friends are exploring the UK and then Europe and taking advantage to see as much as they can. She loves home cooked food, documenting her life on Instagram and misses her friends back home. She dreams of staying in the UK and working here, and exploring her freedom.
What to avoid
SMALL LOGO OR ALMOST NON-EXISTENT, THESE T-SHIRTS ARE BEAUTIFUL GIFTS TO BE BOUGHT NOT A BRANDING EXERCISE. Nothing tacky like a big red bus, or a shot of Big Ben (certainly you could use the scenery or a blackout) but keep it low key. Asian styles can be a bit crazy but for t-shirts, they like stuff that;s cool and low key. Also think about Japanese manga styles. (THINK STUDIO GHIBLI BEAUTIFUL NOT CORNY ANIME GIRL...) And, easy on the cats.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. T-shirt starts at £159.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.
