Our design challenge was deliberately a little vague and open-ended, and we hid the designs so no one could see each other's submissions. We went with this approach to try to encourage designers to produce some truly original ideas. pmo brought by far the most original, creative, and well-executed design that was submitted - it was truly a concept we hadn't even imagined before the contest and that was a rather unexpected surprise.
- Mr. Ben
Right off the bat Mr. Ben's design stood out, collaboration and communication has been very easy and overall it was a pleasure working with him. I'd definitely request future work from this talented designer.
How Lucky Finn started their t-shirt journey
Who are you known as?
Lucky Finn Schooner Company
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We want to build the Lucky Finn brand. Initially through merchandise to include tee shirts, sweatshirts, and hats for children as well as adults. We already hosted a contest for tee-shirt designs and we have awared three winners in that contest so far.
In this contest there are more specifics. We want designs to include an image of the Lucky Finn...it doesnt have to be a photo, it could be a drawing, silouhette whatever...Something that can be printed or embroidered. The design should inlcude the name of the town, Scituate MA...the name of the boat Lucky Finn. Other items that you may want to use include....image of the Scituate Lighthouse, a four leaf shamrock, the number five and maybe lobster boats or fishing boats.
Couple of other points...we fly the American flag as well as a green banner with the words lucky finn on it.
